Looking for volunteering opportunities with Rowayton Library? Then we have something for you! Write a book review!

We don't always need help in the library, but we are always interested in content for our website or social media pages. Help us out!

One book review is two hours of community service for you. You may submit up to two book reviews per week.

Some guidelines:

• Reviews can be about books for any age group (adults, teens, children) and in any genre (fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, manga, etc.)
• The books that you choose to review can be classics that were published years ago or new titles that were just released but must be a book that we have in our collection.
• Your reviews should be between 250 and 300 words in length.
• Check out sites such as Amazon, Goodreads, or Kirkus Reviews for help on writing a review as you tell us about the book, why it's a good read, and why others might enjoy it, too. We expect your review to be your own writing.
• Once you've finished your review, email it to us at library@rowayton.org with "Volunteer Book Review" in the subject line.
• We'll read your reviews and check for grammatical or spelling errors that you may have missed.
